Jen Braun, Capturing Images for JonesTV

Jen Braun, an accomplished photographer and videographer, applies her talents to JonesTV, jumping into the fray and doing whatever needs to be done at the moment. “I am like a Swiss Army knife for the company,” she says. Whether capturing unscripted photos of people or shooting “rapid fire” action sequences, such as Tillman skateboarding , Jen approaches each situation with a great deal of energy and experience. Her excellence in her work is overshadowed only by her modesty when she talks about it.

She first met Thomas Chase Jones, president of JonesTV, at his home and studio, and began working around the studio taking pictures. Quickly, her photography hobby turned into a job, as she was hired to work for the JonesTV multi-channel website.

Her passion for photography began in high school, where she learned her craft experimentally. Jen had her photographs featured in a popular magazine, and she continues to do photo shoots for JonesTV.

Jen manages and catalogues a huge photo collection for the company, and is responsible for the quality and precision of their photo library. Her photographs will be seen on Jones Pets, Jones Sports, Jones Toons, and a future venture, Jones Kitchen. Jen also includes video in her roster of talents, jumping in when an extra camera person is needed. She’s also a lighting expert and produces many of the photographs seen on JonesTV.

For fun, Jen keeps current with what’s going on in social media networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. The pieces of Jones TV are all of the people who pull the website together and make it work. She’s a big piece of that puzzle.
