Benjamin Brown, Renaissance Man for JonesTV

As co-founder of JonesTV, Benjamin Brown applies his “jack-of-all-trades” energies to the new media website. When he’s not working on Internet strategies to promote JonesTV, he can be found working together with major sponsors, Natural Balance Pet Foods and PETCO.

Known as “BB” after one of Thomas Chase Jones’ favorite guitar players, Ben has been with JonesTV for almost two years, and more than earns Tom’s praise, “He is a magnificent worker!” BB also plays a key role in driving the JonesTV business model, which encourages people to contribute their unique talents and excitement about their work to the company.

With a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Music degree from the University of Redlands, Ben is an accomplished musician in various genres. He has performed with the Redlands Symphony, San Bernardino Symphony, Riverside Philharmonic, and numerous small ensembles. To add to his bag of tricks, he is also a technical wizard, with expertise in a number of software programs, including Logic and Pro Tools.

Ben’s successes include performing on the soundtrack for “Elegy” with Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz. As an expert audio engineer, he has mixed television and film scores. With a knack for video, Ben quickly ramped up his skills. He started by researching video techniques, and with some on-the-job training, he began to excel at his craft. He is now the point man for filming the creation of the “World’s Biggest Float,” which features a gigantic ski slope for Tillman to display his antics. You’ll be able to see the float at the coming New Year’s Day Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
