The Beach Girls

I am starting a new oil painting of my beautiful grand daughters, Julia and Naty Kate and thought I'd record the progress for Jones TV. This photo and the one after are the two girls playing on the beach. I decided to put them together as if they are digging the same sand pile. I am going to paint this in earth tones because I love the warmth and it seems to fit a sunny day at the beach.
