Ostrich

Ralph the ostrich was born and lived on a ranch owned by Rancher Bob in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The valley was a favorite place to raise ostriches and other grazing animals.

Ostriches like to strut their stuff, and they can run like the wind. When hatched, they weigh three pounds, and they grow a foot every month. At six-months old, they are six-feet tall!
